Homes and walls in Kansas
Kansas housing is mostly single-family: ranch houses and split-levels in Wichita and Topeka, newer subdivisions in Overland Park and Olathe. Basements are common and often double as the storm shelter and the media room. Walls there may be framed over concrete, so the mount and the cable route are planned around that. Above ground, most walls are drywall on wood studs, and brick fireplaces are frequent in homes from the 1960s to the 1980s.
Whatever the wall, the rule is the same: the installer checks it with you and you approve the spot before anything is drilled.
Where we plan to open in Kansas
We open a city once at least two local installers there have passed our selection and a hands-on skills test. These five come first.
