Homes and walls in Virginia
Virginia has three housing worlds. Northern Virginia is dense with townhouses, condos and high-rise apartments, where metal studs and concrete are common. Hampton Roads — Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, Newport News — has many military families who rent and move often, so a mount that leaves little to repair matters. Richmond's older neighborhoods have brick rowhouses with plaster walls. Each is quoted for its own wall type.
Whatever the wall, the rule is the same: the installer checks it with you and you approve the spot before anything is drilled.
Where we plan to open in Virginia
We open a city once at least two local installers there have passed our selection and a hands-on skills test. These five come first.
