Homes and walls in Kentucky

Kentucky's cities have a lot of older brick. Louisville's shotgun houses and Victorians and Covington's rowhouses often have plaster walls and solid masonry, where a mount needs proper anchors, not drywall screws. Lexington and Bowling Green have many newer homes with ordinary drywall on wood studs and a prewired fireplace wall. Finished basements are popular here too, and those walls are sometimes built over concrete.

Whatever the wall, the rule is the same: the installer checks it with you and you approve the spot before anything is drilled.

Not everyone gets in.

Mountzo works with independent local installers. Before one reaches your door, three things have already happened.

  1. 1
    Selected

We look at experience and past installs before anything else.

  2. 2
    Tested

A hands-on skills test before the first job.

  3. 3
    Under agreement

Every installer signs our service agreement and answers for the work.
