Homes and walls in Oklahoma
Oklahoma homes are mostly single-story brick ranches on slab foundations, in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Norman, Edmond and Broken Arrow alike. Inside, walls are drywall on wood studs. Brick or stone fireplaces are very common in houses from the 1970s onward, and a TV above one needs masonry anchors. Some homes have a storm shelter or safe room with concrete or steel walls; a TV there is mounted differently from the rest of the house.
Whatever the wall, the rule is the same: the installer checks it with you and you approve the spot before anything is drilled.
Where we plan to open in Oklahoma
We open a city once at least two local installers there have passed our selection and a hands-on skills test. These five come first.
