Homes and walls in Montana
Montana homes range from older houses in Billings, Great Falls and Butte to log and timber-frame homes around Bozeman and Missoula. In a log home, the mount is lagged directly into solid wood, which holds very well, but there is no hollow wall for cables, so they run on the surface or behind trim. Tall stone fireplaces are a favorite TV spot and need anchors long enough to reach the structure behind the stone.
Whatever the wall, the rule is the same: the installer checks it with you and you approve the spot before anything is drilled.
Where we plan to open in Montana
We open a city once at least two local installers there have passed our selection and a hands-on skills test. These five come first.
