Homes and walls in Nebraska
In Nebraska, most homes in Omaha, Lincoln and Bellevue have a basement, and that is where many families put the largest TV. Basement walls may be poured concrete or framed walls built in front of it, and each is mounted differently. Upstairs, newer homes are drywall on wood studs. Older Omaha and Lincoln neighborhoods have plaster walls and brick fireplaces, which need their own anchors.
Whatever the wall, the rule is the same: the installer checks it with you and you approve the spot before anything is drilled.
Where we plan to open in Nebraska
We open a city once at least two local installers there have passed our selection and a hands-on skills test. These five come first.
