Homes and walls in New Jersey
New Jersey packs almost every wall type into one state. Rowhouses and older multi-family buildings in Newark, Jersey City, Paterson and Elizabeth often have plaster over lath or brick party walls. High-rise apartments along the Hudson have concrete and metal studs, and many buildings require approval before drilling. Suburban and shore-area homes are mostly drywall on wood studs. Knowing which one you live in lets us quote the job correctly.
Whatever the wall, the rule is the same: the installer checks it with you and you approve the spot before anything is drilled.
Where we plan to open in New Jersey
We open a city once at least two local installers there have passed our selection and a hands-on skills test. These five come first.
What it will cost in New Jersey
Prices are for labor on drywall with a compatible mount. Minimum service call $100. Any change is agreed before work begins. Full price list
